bought it for my 5 year old

I bought it for my 5 year old for his birthday after he started wanting to take pictures with mine. It is perfect for him. I only had to show him how to operate it one time and he loves it! His only complaint is the battery compartment opens up too easily. I had to add a strap from my old digital camera so too bad it wasn't supplied. Picture quality is fair but fine according to him. Pictures in areas that are not well lit don't come out very well. Still...

Camera for a 5 year old

We bought this camera for our 5 year old son. It works great for this purpose. Simple point and shoot, no zoom and no major options. The megapixels are way better than the cameras they sell specifically for kids and it costs less. It is light weight and small, so perfect for little hands. My only concern is that it may get damaged easier than a camera designed for kids, but it has not done so yet. The camera holds about 30 pics on the internal memory and...
