The product came to me in a short period of time. It works like a champ! I really enjoy it!

You MUST be in front of the camera for the remote to work. I know that this might sound stupid but if you want to have your camera on a tripod and take pictures while standing BEHIND the camera, this is not what you are looking for (try with a shutter release cable)
