Better than the original
I have a Canon Rebel purchased a few years ago, and had lost my extra battery. Not wanting to go without, I bought this battery. It has more capacity than the one that came with the camera, and, as with the fist one, lasts a really long time. I have been taking pictures and leaving the camera on and ready for the last three weeks with my new granddaughter, and it is still at full charge.
stick with oem
don't waste your time searching for aftermarket batteries. They will let you down when you need them the most and waste your time.
